Monterey is at the intersection of Routes 220 North/South and Route 250 East/West in Highland County.

Once you are in town go the Courthouse at the corner of
Main and Spruce.

From Main Street, turn onto Spruce Street heading south.

Go two blocks to Seig Street. Turn right.

Monterey Cottage is on the right at the first driveway.

Park in the driveway in front of the garage door.

Monterey is easily accessible from all directions.
There are several shortcuts on back country roads to be
found on printed and online maps. For general directions
we stick to the main highways.

From Charlottesville, Richmond and other points
east, take I-64W to I-81N at Staunton. Once on I-81N
go a short drive to Exit 225. Turn left onto Route 275
and proceed to Route 250 West toward Monterey.
Or, take Route 250 (Churchville Avenue) through
Staunton and out to Monterey.

From Lexington, Roanoke and other points south,
take I-81N to Exit 225 just beyond Staunton. Turn
left onto Route 275 and proceed to Route 250 West
toward Monterey.

From Mt. Jackson, Winchester and other points
north, take I-81S to Exit 225 before reaching
Staunton. Bear right onto Route 275 and proceed
to Route 250 West toward Monterey.

From Elkins and points west, Monterey can be
reached using Route 33 in West Virginia. Take
Route 33 into Franklin, then turn right onto
Route 220 and head south to Monterey.
